Best $10 I have ever spent!
What a bargain it was when the tickets were announced at $10 presale! We snapped them up before their 10 year breakup at the Club Impaxx in Buffalo, then, after they reignited at both Massey Hall and Danforth Theatre in Toronto (past 2 years), I saw Doc Robinson.
Before the show, though I kept waiting for the crowd to arrive, they never did. For us, it was good that it wasn't very well attended, but bad for those that missed it. It was easy to get within 20 feet of the stage, center, and access refreshments and facilities.
A beautiful night with a great breeze it was. The show was typical CH with an unexpected real energy, considering that they probably looked out at the meager turnout. While there were enthusiastic people in the pit, almost ashamed was I that there were a lot of people just standing around. The sound and lighting were quite good for an outdoor show.
Doc Robinson has been around for a long time, and they are still relevant. So, for those of you that "took a pass", you lost out.
